This week so far it appears that markets are recovering as Bitcoin reaches $48,000 after a fall from crossing the $50,000 mark last week. Other cryptocurrencies seem to be following Bitcoin and are recovering from their fall including Cardano and Solana which saw their highest price tag this month.

AMC okay’s to add more cryptocurrencies as a form of payment
Earlier, AMC announced it will allow its customers to buy tickets and other services it offers with the help of Bitcoin. However looking at how many other cryptocurrencies people are invested in, AMC has decided to add Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash in their payments method giving their customers more freedom on which crypto to choose from.

Crypto kid fraudster to spend almost 8 years in Federal Prison for running a Ponzi-scheme
The 24-year-old named Stefan Qin proposed he was running a hedge fund that offers 500% returns through investing in real estate and initial crypto coin offerings. In reality, Qin turns out to be a fraud. Many people who lost their life savings to Qin have asked the judge to maximize his sentence, including one woman who said she was left “homeless” by Qin’s actions.

Crypto company HashKey signs as a tenant with Hong Kong’s property giant
Coming to Asia, this week HashKey Group has signed a deal with Hong Kong’s Land Holdings Ltd. a major property owner in Hong Kong. The deal is the first of its kind with a crypto asset and will allow HashKey to have an entire floor for their operations at a famous building within Hong Kong’s city district. The company has offices in Singapore, Tokyo, and Shanghai.

Steven Cohen is all set to invest in a Crypto trading firm
The hedge fund billionaire Steven Cohen seems to be more optimistic about the cryptocurrency market after he criticized his baseball team on Twitter last month. Radkl is a fairly new trading firm that aims to deploy quantitative to improve investments in cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and other digital assets mainly NFTs.

Looking at the success of Non Fungible Tokens, the world’s most famous crypto-wallet and trading platform have launched its own NFT marketplace where you can buy NFTs and also bid on them. NFTs can be purchased using ETH or BNB. The convenience of not having to download a meta-mask wallet to purchase NFTs among others has caught the attention of Binance users and other investors.

OpenSea’s product lead is accused of using insider knowledge to gain profits
OpenSea – one of the most popular places to purchase and trade NFTs, their senior employee has been found guilty of having insider knowledge thus making more profits. He was caught doing inside trading of some NFTs before they were even dropped on the platform. So far the status of his employment has not been released by OpenSea.
