Weekly Review
Last week’s market performance
Green light or red light? Well, unfortunately, RED light.
Last week, the crypto market crashed due to plenty of reasons. Bitcoin, which just a month earlier saw its highest of almost $69,000, suddenly went down to $42,874 briefly and later went close to $50,000. Other alt-coins didn’t perform to their utmost either; however, as the weekend came to an end, it appears the market is slowly recovering! Fingers crossed!

As we have covered extensively about China’s crackdown against cryptocurrencies and mining operations, as it further appears, China wants to ensure that unless or until every mining operation is banned from its soil, the authorities will not rest. Last week we saw the same as the country’s smallest and southernmost province, Hainan, is also arresting miners and increasing electricity rates to discourage mining.

Jack Dorsey, Twitter’s pro-Bitcoin CEO, resigns
Perhaps also the reason for the bullish trend of cryptocurrencies, perhaps not. However, the bitcoin community lost a mighty voice that has actively advocated for adapting cryptocurrencies, primarily bitcoin. The good news is, he is still the CEO of Square Inc that owns CashApp, and has other bitcoin projects in the line.

Kraken now supports Shiba Inu
The ‘shiba-army’ won again last week as Kraken has now finally listed it on their platform and has allowed the trading to continue after the official account tweeting: we’re thrilled to announce that Kraken has finally listed now supports Shiba Inu (SHIB). However, the fight is not over yet since Shiba Army awaits to be listed on Robinhood, one of the US’s most popular crypto-trading app.
